Asst. Prof. Arnatchai Maiuthed, PhD, Dr.rer.nat, is a lecturer and researcher at Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University. He is also a head of “Centre of Biopharmaceutical Science for Healthy Ageing”, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University. The aim of this center is to discover molecular targets and mechanisms of organ ageing which further collaborates with researchers to develop pharmaceutical technologies for promoting health in elderly.
His research focuses on cancer biology for drug discovery and development by using proteomics and metabolomics approaches. In addition, the mechanism of candidate compounds, both synthetic and natural source, for anti-cancer, anti-metastasis, anti-angiogenesis, anti-inflammation are in his expertise field. The emerging field of technologies including stem cell, cancer stem cell, extracellular vesicle (EV), and organs on the chip are also currently his research projects.
The collaboration is opened for biology and pharmaceutical fields for frontier research or innovation development purpose in drug discovery and development. The other scientific fields are welcomed for development of the cutting-edge technology.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
